Mosquito Rep Tourney Champs in Saugeen Shores!
A little rain and hail didn't stop the Festival Furniture Mosquito Rep team from going 5-0 to win the Saugeen Shores tournament championship!!

With a slight rain delay the Stratford team took the field under the lights to play Clinton.  The batting was strong for Stratford with Noah Roth, Quinn  Appel both hitting doubles and Beckham McLeod with a triple. Also getting on base was Nick Betto,  Noah McIlwain, Andrew Leitch and Jack Buckley.  Max Harvey and Liam McEvoy both had RBI's.  Pitching for Stratford were Finn Stewart and Nolan Trainor. Final score 8-1.

Saturday Morning Stratford played Hanover. Defensively Noah Roth, Beckham McLeod, Finn Stewart, Brett Knechtel all had hot gloves catching balls that came their way.  Aggressive base running by Jack Buckley, Beckham McLeod, Max Harvey, Nick Betto, Brett Knechtel, Quinn Appel, Noah McIlwain and Noah Roth.  Stratford beat Hanover 8-2. Saturday afternoon Stratford took the field to play Collingwood, with  4 double plays in the game by Beckham McLeod, Finn Stewart, Nick Betto and aggressive base running by Noah Roth, Beckham McLeod, Jack Buckley, Finn Stewart, Nick Betto scoring for us and winning a very close game 6-5.

Sunday morning we played in the semi-finals against Milton.  Finn Stewart and Nolan Trainor both took the mound.  Scoring for Stratford was Brett Knechtel, Andrew Leitch, Kieran Butler, Beckham McLeod, Jack Buckley and Noah Roth, with Max Harvey getting a home run, the final score was 10-5.

For the gold medal game Stratford took on Collingwood for a second time. Scoring for Stratford was Liam McEvoy, Jack Buckley, Nick Betto, Quinn Appel, Andrew Leitch, Max Harvey and Noah Roth.  Brett Knechtel closed out the game pitching with a 3 up 3 down.  Final Score 12-2.
