Stratford Fell Short to Woodstock
Stratford played in
Woodstock on Thursday night and despite great efforts with aggressive base
running by Andrew Leitch, Nolan Trainor, Max Harvey, Noah McIlwain, Brett
Knechtel, Kieran Butler and Jack Buckley, Stratford fell short 3-2. Great
defensive plays by Finn Stewart, Noah Roth and Nick Betto, on the
infield while Andrew Leitch and Quinn Appel had great gloves in the
outfield. Liam McEvoy caught the whole game for Kieran Butler and Brett
Knechtel who took the mound for Stratford, both striking out
batters. Nolan Trainor and Max Harvey scored for Stratford.
