Aggressive base running by Beckham McLeod, Finn Stewart, Quinn Appel, Noah Roth, Max Harvey, Liam McEvoy and Nolan Trainor combined with Jack Buckley's double, and Noah McIlwain and Andrew Leitch both hitting triples, for 15 runs for Stratford. Defensively Andrew Leitch, Nick Betto, Noah Roth, Liam McEvoy, Beckham McLeod, Quinn Appel and Brett Knechtel weren't letting any balls get by them. Brett Knechtel took the mound for most of the game with Jack Buckley closing the game for Stratford. Final score 15-3.
Tuesday night Stratford hosted the Waterloo Tigers. Nolan Trainor was hot behind the plate throwing out both a runner to 2nd and 3rd. Pitching for Stratford was Finn Stewart, Liam McEvoy and Andrew Leitch closed the game. Making some great catches were Quinn Appel, Jack Buckley and Finn Stewart. Aggressive base running and scoring by Quinn Appel, Andrew Leitch, Nolan Trainor, Finn Stewart, Beckham McLeod, Nick Betto, Max Harvey, Kieran Butler, Liam McEvoy, Noah McIlwain with Noah Roth scoring the winning run with a walk-off steal at home to make the final score 13-12 for the Mosquito Nationals.
