Nationals Mosquito Rep wins with a walk off run in the 6th inning
Stratford
hosted the Guelph Royals on Tuesday night. Guelph scored 4 runs in
the first inning. Scoring for Stratford early in the game were Noah Roth
and Andrew Leitch. Finn Stewart and Liam McEvoy pitched for Stratford,
with Quinn Appel closing, striking out 3 batters. Stratford
was down 8-3 going into the 6th inning. Nick Betto, Nolan
Trainor, Brett Knechtel and Jack Buckley all scored in the bottom of the 6th.
With 2 runners on base Noah McIlwain hit a triple, scoring Finn Stewart and
Andrew Leitch sliding into home for a walk off run to win the game 9-8!
