In game one Carter Musselman and Michael Pauli were the only Nationals to record a hit in an 11-1 Simcoe victory. Pauli added an RBI. Carter Stock and David Hynd combined to allow six Giant earned runs on nine hits while striking out six.
Despite the National offense coming alive in game two the home side offense continued to pounce early and often in a 14-10 Simcoe win. Nathan Graff had 2 hits, scored twice and knocked in a run for Stratford. Caleb Musselman, Erik Smith, Hynd, Tyler Hotson and James Koch each had a hit and a RBI. Naoto Fujita and Jack Whitehead also knocked in runs for the Nationals. Fujita, Cam Daigle and Pauli combined to allow 10 earned runs on 11 Giant hits while walking seven and striking out three.
