Bantams split doubleheader
Stratford split a double header with the Guelph Royals at National Stadium Friday night.
Guelph took the first game 4 -1 and Stratford bonced back to win the second game 10 - 2.

The first game saw a continued lack of hitting from Stratford recently as they only managed 4 hits. Ethan Zehr pitched well for Stratford and held Guelph to 6 hits but they scored 3 of their runs on sloppy play by the home team.
For Stratford Mason Mckay, Tyler Gould, Ethan Zehr and call up Jack Whitehead had hits.

In the second game Guelph jumped out to 2-0 lead before Stratford bats finally woke up in the 4th inning as the team scored 3 runs added 3 more in the 5th and 4 in the 6th to handily take the win.
Andrew Barber started and allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 4 innings and William Cave pitched 3 shutout innings allowing only 1 hit. For Stratford Mason Mckay had 2 singles and call up Jack Whitehead again showed he could play with older age group with a long double. Tyler Gould also hit a double while Keegan McAthur, Ethan Zehr, Jordan Sinclair and Carson Teolis had singles.
