Brantford Tournament
Continuing off from where they left off last weekend, The Rheo Thompson Mosquito Select Nationals went undefeated again in pool play at the Brantford Tournament this weekend.

In the opening game on Friday night, The Rheo Thompson Mosquito Select Nationals defeat Welland 12-2. Jackson Grasby started the game giving up the only 2 runs in the first inning before going 6 up and 6 down in the next two innings. Brynley Vogt came in relief and allowed only 2 baserunners in 2 innings. Jackson Grasby, Carter Koch, Brynley Vogt and Noah Rankin each reached base 2 times scoring 2 runs each.

In the second game, The Nationals defeated North London 14-2. Hunter Hyde started the game giving up 1 run in 3 innings striking out 5. Justin Malott came in relief allowing the other North London run and striking out 3. Carter Koch and Brynley Vogt lead The Nationals reaching base 3 times scoring 3 runs each. Reid Looser, Eric Haynes, Noah Rankin, Brody Hastings and Justin Malott were on base twice each.

In the final game, The Nationals defeated Brampton 14-4. Carter Koch started the game throwing 3 shut out innings striking out 4. Ashton Wiseman lead The Nationals reaching base 3 times scoring each time. Hutton Patterson, Eric Haynes, Brynley Vogt and Troy Wilson each reached base twice. Austin Cosstick and Sam Pepper each contributed key hits for The Nationals.

The Nationals advance to the Quarter Finals on Sunday vs East Mountain.
