The Same Day Auto Major Bantam Tier 1 team took their lumps Sunday night against top place Waterloo before rebounding with a home victory over the Guelph Royals in Inter County baseball action this week..

Sunday night in Waterloo the hometown Tigers were out to avenge two earlier losses to the 2nd place Nats and after spotting the visitors an early 3-0 lead the striped cats stormed back for an eventual 11-4 victory. Cam Daigle, Carter Stock and Micheal Pauli combined to allow just six earned runs on eight Tiger hits, striking out seven and walking six. Daigle, Naoto Fujita, Carter Musselman and David Hynd had hits for the losers with Fujita scoring twice.
Monday at National stadium saw a solid pitching performance from Fujita and Ethan Boersma in a 5-3 win over visiting Guelph. One earned run on three hits with eight strike outs was the line in this one. Boersma was absolutely dominant after coming in with one out in the fourth inning setting down 11 of 11 Royal batters to close out the victory. At the dish Tyler Hotson doubled and singled, Nathan Graff doubled, Fujita singled twice and Carter Stock, Carter Musselman, Daigle and Kyle Powers singled. Caleb Musselman added an RBI, Erik Smith reached base twice and scored while Fujita scored twice to help pace a balanced offensive attack for the victors.
