Stratford Festival Furniture Minor Bantams opened their season with a convincing 17-5 win over the Waterloo Tigers #2 at SERC Park on Wednesday night. Sam Bolger, Matthew Barber and Nole Musselman combined to hold the Waterloo offence to 7 hits and four walks while striking out two hitters over five innings. Stratford's offence had 6 hits of its own while taking advantage of 14 walks issued by Waterloo pitchers. They put the game out of reach with a 12 run third inning. Jacob Hall and Zach Schooley had two hits each.
Next game for Stratford is May 23rd vs Kitchener at SERC.
