Congratulations to Stratford Nationals 9UT1 on winning a Silver Medal over the weekend at the St. Thomas Minor Baseball Cardinal Classic.
These boys went 3-0 during their Round Robin play. Placing them in the Semi-Finals against Kawartha. They came out strong winning the Semi-Finals 14-5. This set up a final against London West Tincups. They trailed 15-2 going into the 4th. The bats then came alive fighting to push the game to a tie going into the 7th inning. The Tincups scored 2 in the 7th to take a 19-17 lead and the Nationals we unable to muster any offence in the 7th losing the final 19-17. The coaches and parents are extremely proud of the efforts from the entire team this weekend and look forward to the Mega tournament in a few weeks.
