By GameChanger Media. Nationals 11U fell 5-4 to Hamilton Cardinals 11UAA on Tuesday despite out-hitting them nine to six. Hayes F and Zach H each collected two hits for Nationals 11U.Hamilton Cardinals 11UAA got on the board in the first inning after Nicholas V singled, scoring two runs. Hamilton Cardinals 11UAA added one run in the second after Austin F walked. Hamilton Cardinals 11UAA added one run in the third after Lucas M singled.
Nicholas V earned the win for Hamilton Cardinals 11UAA. The right-handed pitcher allowed eight hits and two runs (one earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking none. Zach H took the loss for Nationals 11U. The starting pitcher went three innings, surrendering four runs on four hits, striking out five and walking three. Austin F earned the save.
Mason S and Zach H were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Nationals 11U. Hayes F stole two bases. Nationals 11U turned one double play in the game. Nationals 11U didn't commit a single error in the field. Mason S had the most chances in the field with 10.
Nicholas V provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Hamilton Cardinals 11UAA with two runs batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Nicholas V, North O, Austin F, Jackson K, Aaron W, and Lucas M each collected one hit for Hamilton Cardinals 11UAA.
