By GameChanger Media. Nationals 11U fell 9-4 to Tillsonburg Otters 11U on Monday despite out-hitting them 10 to eight. Jake H led Nationals 11U with three hits. A sacrifice fly by Collton P put Tillsonburg Otters 11U on the board in the top of the first. Tillsonburg Otters 11U added two runs in the third after Lockland T hit a sacrifice fly.
Seth L earned the win for Tillsonburg Otters 11U. The starting pitcher surrendered eight hits and three runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one. Kohen M took the loss for Nationals 11U. The starting pitcher went four and one-third innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out three and walking two.
Nationals 11U collected 10 hits in the game. Zach H, the number seven hitter for Nationals 11U, led the way with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Kohen M collected two hits for Nationals 11U in three at bats. Nationals 11U turned one double play in the game.
Lockland T provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Tillsonburg Otters 11U with three runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Braden K, Madden U, and Lockland T each collected two hits for Tillsonburg Otters 11U. Madden U and Tate U each stole multiple bases for Tillsonburg Otters 11U.
