Festival Furniture Mosquito Rep Finishes Regular Season 28-12-1 Record

The Festival Furniture Mosquito Rep had busy end to the season with 5 games in three days.

The Festival Furniture Mosquito Rep Team travelled to Cambridge on Sunday for a double header.   Scoring for Stratford was Kieran Butler, Liam McEvoy and Brett Knechtel.   Defensively Noah Roth, Finn Stewart, Nick Betto, and Nolan Trainor made great catches.  Stratford fell short 7-3.   With a short break, Stratford took on Cambridge again. Scoring for Stratford was Nick Betto, Noah McIlwain, Quinn Appel and Max Harvey.  Stratford fell short 14-4.

 

On Monday Stratford hosted Kitchener for a double header.  In the first game, scoring for Stratford was Jack Buckley, Quinn Appel, Kieran Butler, Liam McEvoy, Brett Knechtel, Nolan Trainor, Noah Roth, Noah McIlwain, Beckham McLeod and Nick Betto.   Honourable mentions go to Max Harvey who hit a double and Nick Betto and Beckham McLeod both hitting triples.   Pitching for Stratford was Nolan Trainor and Brett Knechtel who both struck out multiple batters.  Final Score was 15-12 for Stratford.  With a short break and some refueling Stratford took on Kitchener again, this time under the lights.   Scoring for Stratford was Andrew Leitch, Jack Buckley, Nick Betto, Beckham McLeod, Brett Knechtel, Max Harvey, Beckham McLeod, Kieran Butler and Liam McEvoy.  Starting out pitching for Stratford was Andrew Leitch, followed by Liam McEvoy, Noah Roth and closing out the game was Beckham McLeod.   Stratford fell short 19-13

 

Stratford took home field advantage for the last time this season against Woodstock.  Andrew Leitch caught the whole game.  Scoring for Stratford were Beckham McLeod, Andrew Leitch, Jack Buckley, Nick Betto, Brett Knechtel, Max Harvey, Liam McEvoy, Noah McIlwain, Nolan Trainor, Kieran Butler.   Honourable mentions go to Nick Betto who hit two doubles, Max Harvey who hit a double and a triple, and Beckham McLeod who had the bases loaded in the fourth inning and hit a grand slam home run to give Stratford the mercy for the win.  Final score 21-6.

 

The team finished the regular season with a successful 28-12-1 record!
