In Kitchener Saturday a Nathan Graff base hit knocked in the tying and winning runs as part of a six run seventh inning for the Nationals and the defense held up in the bottom half to preserve a 14-12 victory. Graff also scored twice while Michael Pauli, James Koch and Jack Whitehead added RBI’s at the plate. Stratford pitching combined to allow six earned runs while striking out six Panther batters.

Sunday at National Stadium game one went 13 innings with the visiting Red Sox scoring three in the 13th to take a 5-2 victory. Naoto Fujita, Carter Stock and Camden Daigle were brilliant on the hill for the Nationals allowing five earned runs on 12 hits while striking out 14 Sox batters. At the plate Daigle tripled and Erik Smith’s second hit of the game tied the score at two in the bottom of the seventh.

The second game saw the Brantford bats come alive in a 15-4 victory. Daigle had two hits for Stratford and a RBI while Whitehead also knocked in a run. Carter Musselman, Daigle, Smith and Caleb Musselman combined to allow nine earned runs while striking out five.
