Auto Minor Bantam Nationals tier 1 rep team swept
a pair of games in Inter County tier 1 action this week...
Tuesday night in Stratford Carter Musselman threw a complete game shutout scattering four Wrangler hits in a 5-0 Nationals victory over Woodstock. At the plate Caleb Musselman and Nathan Graff each had two hits with Musselman knocking in a run and Graff scoring once. Jack Whitehead, Carter Musselman, James Koch and Carter Stock also had hits with Musselman and Stock each driving home a run.
Wednesday again in Stratford Cam Daigle and Erik Smith combined to allow two earned runs on five hits while striking out five in a 5-3 win over visiting Cambridge. Caleb Musselman again led the offense with two hits and a RBI. Smith, Whitehead, Carter Musselman, Michael Pauli and James Koch also had hits with Smith, Whitehead and Pauli each driving in a run for the winners.
With the two victories the Nationals record climbed to a very respectable 9-12 in the ICBA Minor Bantam tier 1 division with three games remaining to close out the regular season schedule.
