West Hill Tournament
The Rheo Thompson Mosquito Select Nationals finished tops in their pool to advance to the Semi-Finals.

In their first game on Friday evening, The Nationals battled back from an 12-7 deficit after 4 1/2 innings against Mississauga to win the game in the bottom of the 5th 16-12. Brody Hastings and Troy Wilson each reached base twice scoring two runs each.

In game two with strong pitching from Hunter Hyde to start and solid relief from Jackson Grasby the Nationals defeated Ajax 6-1 in a compete 7 inning game. Strong defensive efforts from Brynley Vogt, Hutton Patterson, Justin Malott, Ashton Wiseman and Sam Pepper helped keep Ajax to just one run.

In there final pool play game The Nationals defeated the host West Hill baseball team 15-8. Carter Koch started the game throwing 3 strong innings allowing just 2 base runners and striking out 7. Despite a rough first inning of relief, Reid Looser threw a strong final inning to secure the win.
Eric Haines lead The Nationals at the plate getting on base 3 times including a double and scoring 3 runs. Austin Cosstick reached base twice scoring both times.
