Mosquito Rep wins Bronze in Clinton Tourney
Mosquito Rep played hard this weekend to capture Bronze medal in the Clinton Tourney!!
The Festival Furniture Mosquitos travelled to Clinton this weekend for a ball tournament. They fought hard Friday night falling short 5-2 against Saugeen Shores. Saturday morning they were up and at it early to play Clinton with a 10-9 win. Saturday evening they played Kitchener and got the bats going early in the game with a 16-3 win. Sunday morning they played Kitchener for the bronze medal. Stratford was down by 3 runs going into the 7th inning, Andrew Leitch hit a double and with a couple of walks we loaded the bases and were able to bring in 8 runs. We took the field for the last inning and with 1 out Liam McEvoy ends the game by catching a line drive to throw out runner at first. The final score was 11-6
