Bantams win in Waterloo
The Mallot Creek Group bantams travelled to Waterloo Thursday night and came away with a 9-5 win over the Tigers.
Starter Ethan Zehr and closer William Cave shared pitching duties and allowed 6 hits over 7 innings.Eric Burton, Keegan McArthur, Zehr and Carson Teolis had 2 singles each, Jordan Sinclair a triple, Andrew Barber a double and Cave, Mason McKay had singles. Stratford scored 4 runs in the sixth inning to break up a close game and seal the win. The bantams are now 21-3 with one game remaining in the schedule, at home next Wednesday hosting Brantford in the season final game.
